Visible Thong Line Under Dresses?

Hi ladies just wanted to know your thoughts. I was walking through the city the other day and saw multiple see through dresses. Mostly white dresses but I could notice a subtle white thong under all. Not overtly obvious but definitely there. Do you girls do this on purpose? Do you know it's showing? Is it the new style?
