My friend and I get funny looks when we're together?

So me and my friend have known each other for 3 years and we are pretty close. In fact we have even kissed in public before. My other friends constantly ask us if we're dating but we're not. We are both bi and overtly sexual but we have limits and virtues too, its not like im gonna have sex with her but we, apparently, turn each other on all the time but that's just screwing' around. I honestly believe that we are just friends and we both want to stay that way at the moment.
