Removing Widgets from the LG Phoenix?

I accidentally added a few widgets to the home screen of my new LG Phoenix. I have been looking for about an hour now, and I simply can not find an easy way to remove them from the home screen, in fact i can't find a way to do it at all. I really need some help and i would rather not have to master reset my phone.
