How do you put a clock on your desktop?

I was wondering how my cousins put a clock on their desktop with their name on it. I tried asking them how but they don't want to. I want to know the website were you download the software, I tried using yahoo.widgets but every time it finishes downloading, it always says its corrupted... Please I really want my own personalized clock on my desktop for windows 7.
