Would it be weird for an atheist to join a Christian band?

Okay, so I just pretty much got the offer of a lifetime. I was asked by a band that is HUGE locally and has a bit of national attention as well, to join as their vocalist (growls/screams.) The band had been on hiatus for about a year and recently decided to reform, except they needed a new vocalist. A mutual friend of the guitarist recommended me, we met up, I showed them what I could do, etc etc. However, the only thing that sets me back a bit is that, the band is Christian. The songs aren't OVERTLY Christian, but if you locate the lyrics, you'd see that they've definitely got a hint of Christianity in there. I was wondering if this should hold me back from joining or what I should do. Thanks.
